Time flies away with the speed of light, maybe even faster than that. It’s been 4months ago, I still can clearly recall back the moment when Dr Mazran gave briefing to us about Project 1C, create a virtual portfolio. We had been requested to create a blog, the purpose is to upload all of our studioworks , sketches, photo of studio life and write an essay as a summary of this semester.

Frankly, when I first came to USM I was kinda depressed. Of course, I'm excited to come to university, but none of my friends are coming with me. That’s mean I need to explore this new environment, a totally strange environment by my own. Though I’m not a dependent person, but still I hope I would have some companion here. But the feeling lasted for less than a week, after orientation week I started my new life in USM, my life as a HBP-ian.

On the beginning of the semester, especially during project 2 I was disappointed with myself. I understand that my drawing and coloring skills is not as good as my mates, but thanks to Dr Mazran, his encouragement really means a lot to me. He told me that I could improve myself by practicing and do my project together with my mates. After several projects, I can see my improvement through my project outcomes, some of them even get compliment from lecturer.

After completed all project of this semester, I found that get a good grade is not the only thing we should concern about. Through the project we did, we have leant how to cooperate with people come for different field. This is an important soft skill which is significant for our future. :D
